LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES - Mid-West Region Partnership Center; 15 Linden Park
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-Month Position, Full-Time
STARTING DATE: June, 2024
SALARY RANGE: $120,000- $140,000 per year
Actual salary is dependent upon experience, education and contract.
DUTIES:
The Director of the Regional Partnership Center at Monroe One BOCES oversees implementation of a 5-year grant. The Director is responsible for providing leadership to the Mid-West region on evidence-based school improvement practices that improve outcomes for students with disabilities, through leading a team of experienced, highly skilled training specialists in providing professional development support to educators, students, families, and community agencies across the Mid-West Region of NYS. The Director must be able to provide evidence of the impact of the Partnership Center's work in improving academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and post-secondary outcomes of students with disabilities. Working in collaboration with regional district and building leaders, the NYSED Office of Special Education (OSE), Family and Community Engagement Centers, community organizations, and Technical Assistance Partnerships (TAPs) at Cornell University, University of Albany and New York University, the Director will:
Hire, supervise, direct, and evaluate a team of training specialists and support staff.
Plan and facilitate professional development, coaching, observations, and problem- solving processes for Center staff in collaboration with the TAPs.
Ensure delivery of high-quality professional development by all Center staff on an on-going basis in their areas of expertise, including Specially Designed and Explicit Instruction, Culturally Responsive Education, Special Education Systems, Social- Emotional, Behavior Supports, Literacy and Transition Planning
Conduct regional needs assessments and facilitate the regional planning process in collaboration with NYSED OSE to identify high-needs districts for deployment of resources including directing all staff within the Partnership Center.
Create and consistently utilize systems to collect data to monitor implementation and measure impact of the work of the Partnership Center
Serve as a rotating member of the statewide Partnership Implementation Team to monitor and evaluate the work of Regional Partnership Centers statewide.
Facilitate monthly collaborative meetings of the team and members of the Early Childhood and School-age Family and Community Engagement Centers to adjust and refine resource deployment toward the attainment of goals set.
Develop and maintain annual contract budget.
Oversee implementation of and submit required reports on all grant activities to OSE to ensure deliverables are met.
Provide information and resources to upload to the website for the Partnership.
Serve as a member of the Monroe One BOCES Leadership Team through participation in and/or facilitation of leadership meetings and activities.
Qualifications:
1. School Building Leader (SBL) Certification, School District Leader (SDL) Certification
2. Certified teacher with M.S. or M.A. in Education and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
3. Knowledge of the various components of technology services in an educational environment.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Experience in managing and scheduling of resources.
6. Successful leadership and personnel experience.
7. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
