Our PMI (Performance Management & Innovation) division has multiple openings for Nurse Directors of Hospital Case Management (DCM) to support our hospitals during perids of short term need.
This is a full time career opportunity, requiring a high percentage of travel, regionally and at times, potentially nationwide.
While serving as an Internal Consultant Hospital DCM, this leader also serves as a PMI Case Management Consultant to lead multi-disciplinary process improvement by utilizing excellent communication and leadership skills to challenge status quo and influence Administrative teams and physicians to change processes to improve performance.
Analyzes and redesigns work processes to improve throughput, quality and cost efficiencies in high volume, high cost areas of hospitals.
Utilizes lean process improvement tools to lead the conception, issue identification, hypothesis formation, planning and conducting interviews as well as research, analysis and writing custom roadmaps and action plans in collaboration with hospital leaders.
Develops and implements best practices to achieve organizational goals through effectively leading and managing change in a matrix environment.
Oversees the implementation of action plans and monitors progress toward goals assisting with addressing barriers and challenges and making adjustments as needed to assure that goals are met.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRES Nursing Credential (RN, BSN, MSN)Advanced degree in Nursing, Business and/or Health Care Administration or equivalent experience requiredA minimum of 7 years case management leadership experience in an acute setting and consultant experience preferredSix Sigma Black Belt and change management experience preferred.
Case management certification Accredited Case Manager (ACM) preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
