HR Works' rapidly-growing outsourced benefits area is currently recruiting for a Benefits Specialist. This role will assist clients with overall benefits administration for all welfare benefits, including COBRA and Leave administration. Duties also involve working directly with clients' employees to answer questions related to eligibility and other benefit inquiries, as well as assisting with online enrollment.
DESCRIPTION
Benefit Administration:
o Manage day-to-day benefit administration functions for clients.
o Assist with issues related to processing benefits and HRIS data.
o Respond to employees' call center inquiries related to benefit coverage, claims issues, COBRA, etc.
o Prepare and distribute new hire benefits packages to employees.
o Conduct new hire benefit orientations for clients.
o Provide assistance to employees re: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and FSA/HRA/HSA.
o Perform monthly carrier invoice reconciliation and provide summary to clients.
o Coordinate annual open enrollment process. Participate in employee meetings/benefit fairs and assist with online enrollment.
o Also includes the following: Leave Administration; Systems; Client Maintenance; Documentation & Reporting; and Vendor Relations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
o Minimum of 2 years of benefits, HRIS, and leave administration experience
o Working knowledge of benefit trends, industry regulations and compliance requirements.
o Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION
o Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with commensurate work experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
