Product Manager

Description   Qualitrol is the place to find your next career challenge!  We are now seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team and make your mark!  As our Manager of Product Marketing, you will lead the product definition and market understanding for utility solution programs. Your output from these efforts will be a well-defined product offering plan, including a road map designed to deliver the company's growth objectives. Collects Voice of the Customer data to drive new product development and links key product specifications back to customer needs. The Product Manager interfaces between the customers and the product developers, to define and ensure that the solution will meet customer needs.  Understands how our new offerings fit into the market place, including defining price/performance positioning relative to competition, market share, technology trends and target segments.  Guides new product development efforts through the tollgate review process.  Works with Qualitrol leadership to define product road map that achieves growth goals.  Monitors technology trends - regulatory drivers, competitive threats, market-growth predictions.  Forecasts sales and unit growth for product portfolio.  Develops product launch plans - provides customer benefit insight and how to leverage upon launch.     Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MBA preferred.  Electric transmission/distribution industry knowledge. Electronic/Instrument product knowledge.  3 plus years in marketing in an engineered B2B products environment.  Experience in international sales & marketing.   Strong budgeting and financial analysis skills.  Ability to manage several simultaneous projects through non-reports. Excellent project management and strategic planning skills.  Strong action orientation.  Analytic approach to problem solving.  Multi lingual (desired). QUA000923

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
