Job Description Arcadis is actively seeking a Electrical Engineer Technical Expert - Power Distribution, with 20+ years' experience, to join our Water Business Line team in one of the following preferred offices: AZ, Phoenix CA, Los Angeles DC, Washington GA, Atlanta IN, Indianapolis MA, Boston NY, Fairport NY, Long Island City NY, Syracuse OH, Columbus TX, Dallas MT, Helena This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer, with consulting engineering experience, to join our team and be involved in a variety of electrical engineering tasks for Municipal and Industrial water / wastewater and Water Resources infrastructure projects; such as those regarding, power distribution, emergency power, lighting, panel layouts and Fire Protection systems design, with support from one of the best-qualified consulting firms in the country and a strong nationally recognized technical staff. Project Electrical Engineer will report to Project Manager or Principal Engineer. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Will work on the electrical design and coordination of various projects, involving industrial, municipal projects with an emphasis on water and wastewater treatment plant related buildings, industrialfacilities, and associated electrical systems, as well as the analysis of existing facilities. Responsibilities will include establishing design criteria, performing design calculations, developing one line diagrams, control schematics, plans and specifications. Design work will require a basic proficiency with Microstation and/or AutoCAD, specifically concerning as mentioned electrical systems for Engineering Design and Construction projects. Reviews manufacturer information to assure compliance with specifications. Will gradually become more involved with cost estimating, code review, field investigation, report and memo writing and other similar electrical engineering related tasks. Responsible for providing engineering services during construction, including reviewing equipment submittals, shop drawings and responding to contractor RFI's (request for information). Position requires engineer to be performance-driven and client-focused with strong written/verbal communication skills and an impressive work ethic. Must have the ability to work productively and cooperatively in a team environment. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, or a closely related field of study with a minimum of 20 years experience. PE License. Solid experience, preferably from working in Water/Wastewater Electrical Engineering Consulting, of power, power distribution, motor control, block diagrams, and variable frequency drives. Basic understanding and proficiency with Microstation and/or AutoCAD. Strong baseline knowledge of a National Electrical Codes (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes. Client relationship skills; including preparation and development of proposals, presenting at client meetings and basic understanding of how to manage client expectations. Must possess excellent, clear and concise written and oral communication skills. Functional experience with MS Office applications. Required Driving Statement This position requires a current valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications 25+ years' experience in W/WW Electrical Engineering Consulting. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study. Solid technical experience with electrical engineering and design activities, (i.e. - normal power and emergency-standby power supplies, lighting and motor control systems design; including schematics). Knowledge of Instrumentation, PLC controls and SCADA networkarchitecture. Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations. 8892BR

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
